The Sunset Hideaway

This charming cottage just outside of Cape May Point offers a relaxed beach getaway with plenty of outdoor space. Set on a large property surrounded by nature, this is a classic coastal cottage rather than a newly renovated home. The property is cleaned between guests, but given its wooded setting and our humid coastal summers, you may occasionally notice some of the natural characteristics that come with an older shore home.

Easily bike or drive to the beach, or head down the road to Sunset Beach for ice cream, mini golf, a day on the sand, or one of Cape May's beautiful sunsets.

The home sits well back from the street with a spacious backyard. Enter into the comfortable living room (please note the fireplace is not operational). Down the hall are three bedrooms, including one with an attached half bathroom. There is also a separate dining room off the kitchen and one full bathroom.

Out back, you'll find a large patio with a grill and plenty of seating for relaxing outdoors. The washer and dryer are located in the basement, and there is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Plenty of on-site parking is available.

The homeowner provides two beach chairs and pillows for guest use. Guests must bring their own blankets, sheets, and bath towels.

This is a pet-friendly property. Pets must be approved in advance, and an additional $250 pet fee applies per dog. If you are not bringing a pet, you will not be responsible for the pet fee. For online bookings, your lease will be adjusted accordingly.
